Gothic Greenhouse
IMT Greenhouse Automation Systems specializes in the design, production and installation of “Gothic Roof Greenhouse”. Thanks to its adaptability to different climatic conditions, it is one of the most preferred greenhouse designs.
This design shows high performance in very hot and cold weather conditions. IMT's design utilizes equipment that can maintain temperatures inside the greenhouse between +16°C and +30°C, allowing it to operate efficiently in cold regions where outside temperatures drop to -50°C or in hot areas where temperatures reach +50°C.
Our greenhouses are designed with high resistance to wind, snow and crop load, making them durable even in the harshest climatic conditions. Lined with corrugated polycarbonate, our greenhouses are designed to withstand desert climates and sandstorms. In cold climates, energy efficiency is achieved by using cellular polycarbonate (from 4 mm to 16 mm) to increase insulation.
The cross-sectional size may vary depending on the load to be supported, usually 2.00 - 2.50 - 3.00 - 3.00 - 4.00 - 5.00 - 6.00 meters.
For high efficiency of the greenhouse, it is necessary to keep the air volume at the highest possible level. Therefore, in our design, the height below the gutter is 5-5.5 meters, and in total the height of the greenhouse reaches 7.5-8 meters. In addition, single or double roof ventilation is applied in each tunnel to provide the best ventilation for the plants.
The covering material of Gothic greenhouses is usually made of single or double layer plastic.
IMT Greenhouse Automation Systems offers options for Gothic greenhouse design in standard sizes of 9.60, 11.20 and 12.80 meters. The Gothic roof shape provides better light transmission, more efficient moisture distribution and superior roof ventilation by increasing the surface volume, thus achieving efficient production.
